Checking in can be a hassle. arriving without knowing about the lack of a reception takes the excitement out of the adventure. Be prepared for some unpleasant smells, especially from the drains during rain, and don’t count on the internet if you plan to do any serious work. The 'Economic suite' is in dire need of natural light—if you're not careful, you'll feel like you’re in a cave. Bring a heater if you happen to find the apartment nippy, as it’s not exactly toasty. the walking distance back to the hotel is uphill, which can be a bit of a trek at the end of a long day.

I enjoyed my stay at Santa Cruz! The central location made it easy to explore, and the shower had fantastic water pressure. Just a heads up, the walls were thin, and I could hear everything from the neighbors, which made it tricky to sleep sometimes.

I stayed in a duplex apartment with a lovely sun terrace that made for perfect evening relaxation with drinks. The apartment was beautifully furnished and very clean, with great details like a handy coffee maker and lots of plug sockets. The location couldn't be more perfect, as it was just a short walk to numerous bars and restaurants, making it really convenient.

The economic suite was devoid of natural light, making it feel more like a cave. A funky odor lingered in the air, reminiscent of a basement, and the room was uncomfortably cold, necessitating the use of heating. Despite these drawbacks, the regional bread served at breakfast was delightful and a standout feature during the stay.
